Anna has lived in Newburyport her whole life and affiliated with the NCMF Board since 2013, when she was a sophomore in high school. She grew up in a very musical family and during high school was a member of the high school band as a flute player and drum major, which led to her direct participation as the NCMF Intern.
She had a few years hiatus from the Board while studying foreign languages at the University of Massachusetts Amherst but, since moving back home following her 2019 graduation, she has revived her board activities. She currently works in the translation field.
Her participation in the NCMF Board has led her whole family to be involved; Anna’s younger brother was an intern for a number of years after her and her father is currently the Treasurer. [Photo by Allegra Boverman]
