Summer 2025, an overview

David YangLike the big, messy, and complicated country it springs from, American music has a big, messy, and complicated history.
Never, in 24 years, have we sold out St. Paul’s. Thank you to everyone for bringing us to this point – to our all-volunteer board who have worked tirelessly to get us here, to the small army of people in the community who pitch in to help make each concert possible in all sorts of ways, and to St. Paul’s, our host since the beginning. We wouldn’t be here without you.
I’m delighted for the festival but feel for those who were unable to get tickets beforehand. For those who can’t make it, here is one of my favorite Vivaldi concertos played by the standout Italian baroque orchestra “Il Giardino Armonico.”
I’ll see some of you on Sunday. To all of you: Happy Holidays!

David YangWhat a way to start the year: the largest audience we’ve ever had for a spring concert - not including the bat that strafed the audience.
