Lithuanian pianist IevaJokubaviciute’s performances have led critics to describe her as ‘subtle,complex, almost impossibly detailed and riveting in every way’ (The WashingtonPost) and as ‘an artist of commanding technique, refined temperament andpersuasive insight’ (The New York Times). In 2006, she was honored as arecipient of a Borletti-Buitoni Trust Fellowship. With regular recitals inmajor American and European cities, Ms. Jokubaviciute has also been a soloistwith the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia,Lithuanian National Symphony, and made her concerto debut in Rio de Janeiro. Ms.Jokubaviciute released her recording ‘Returning Paths—solo piano works ofJanacek and Suk’ in the fall of 2014, and Labor Records released her Alban BergTribute recording to critical acclaim in 2010. Ms. Jokubaviciute’s pianotrio—Trio Cavatina—won the 2009 Naumburg International Chamber MusicCompetition and made its Carnegie Hall debut the following year. She regularlyappears at international festivals including: Marlboro, Ravinia, Bard,Caramoor, Chesapeake Chamber Music, and Prussia Cove in England.
